It's The Belief System Not Convince!

Ruling party leaders had tried very hard to convince the Sultans of Perlis and Terengganu on their candidates for Menteri Besar without success.

Their inability to put their candidates forward was due to the simple word "convince". 4 years track record of achievements and performance is sufficient evidence of a person's capability. And convincing someone into agreeing with you is in actuality challenging the person's belief system and this was the same strategy used on rakayat during the recent election which they failed miserably.

Belief is the psychological state in which an individual holds a proposition or premise to be true.

If you try to convince, firstly it will be a futile attempt if people doesn't trust you anymore and secondly, it requires a herculean effort to get someone to change his belief system. And finally, declare the support of appointment here and here!

The only way is to deliver the services and promises i.e. walk the talk and don't just go like "tin kosong". Opposition parties have started delivering their promises but we have yet to see the ruling party delivering with the exception of some statements being made which we read in the Government controlled media.

Don't be surprised, UMNO will start investing on personal development, PR skills and spiritual development for all their leaders in an attempt to "cleanse" themselves thoroughly in the process they called "re-juvenation". Will this work?
