Malaysia In Political Turmoil

Anwar's sodomy charges for the second time does not augur well for the Pakatan Rakyat and the Malaysian Government. For the Government still recovering from the shock of March 8 General Elections verdict has yet to get their acts together and develop the nation but chose to "rock" the opposition as they say " the best way to win is to go offensive".

Any Malaysian would tell you that the Malaysian Government is still lost and had not got started since being re-elected from the last General Elections.

The 20 year old, whom had joined Pakatan Rakyat for 3 months had been seen as a "planted mole" agent to sniff the PKR movements for his "beloved brothers" in Barisan Nasional has been clearly seen as a political conspiracy by the Government although "Bodohwi" had issued denials of Government involvement in this latest uproar.

After all the lies by the Ministers starting from Bodohwi, who would believe his denials! Only a fool would buy into his lies.

The offensive would deemed appropriate timing as the Government are now faced with much more critical issues like DPM and Rosmah Mansor's involvement in the Mongolian murder, SAPP moving a no-confidence motion against the PM, threats from the opposition Pakatan Rakyat succeeding the present Malaysian Government with amidst fresh evidence of Gani Patail and Musa Hassan's role in Anwar's sodomy charges previously. Whatever the issue is, those issues are certainly explosive.

The Government was also equally rocked by the decision of MCA top 2 leaders (Ong Kah Ting and Chan Kong Choy)whom had decided not to contest for the top 2 post in the upcoming party elections. It could be a sign of protest and "throwing the towel" after exhausting all avenues to put forward their views to the non-listening UMNO leaders.

Meanwhile, Samy Velu had also gone into offensive here to uphold the pride of the Indians in Malaysia by calling for punishment ont he racial slur by Sungai Rapat Assemblyman Hamidah Osman.

The Minister in Prime Minister Department, Nazri Aziz and Back Benchers Club (BBC) whom all come from Barisan Nasional are at loggerheads over the the former's "personal" decision to bar the reporters from accessing the MPs by barricading the Parliament lobby and subsequent insinuations here.

It is seen here that there are people in BN trying to make things change but this swell headed "Ketuanan Melayu UMNO" are not willing to act despite all the lip service.

Down with UMNO and Barisan Nasional! Enough is enough!

Malaysia and Fuel Hike ...... What a Sham & Confused Government!

Had Malaysia not gone with the removal of subsidy and drastic fuel price hike on June 4, 2008, the following could have been avoided;

(a) tempers flare and long queue traffic jams to pump petrol before the price hike here,
(b) credit cards not accepted in petrol stations,
(c) rumours of petrol stations shutting down for 3 days as in Sabah here,
(d) Pos Malaysia inundated with Malaysians seeking road-tax rebates (who controls Pos
Malaysia Bhd and benefitted from such is untold?) which caused long waits and despite an
initial 3 minutes effort said here,
(e) hotels suffer from Government having pulling out from having events or seminars in hotels -
what have Tourism Malaysia manage to do to overcome this?,
(f) subsequent price hikes in daily household goods and others including paper/stationery,
packaging and etc. as reported here,
(g) fare increase for public transport while public transportation still requires much
improvement despite the allocation made for 9th MP,
(h) transportation costs increased and many more implications which would have a great impact
on Malaysians at large while the lawmakers from the ruling Goverment still able to enjoy.

The ruling coalition MPs are being paid by the taxes collected from Malaysians and yet, they had gone ahead to endorse the fuel price hike in Parliament! Aren't the elected leaders listening to the people whom had elected them into that position??

What have flip-flop Malaysian Government done to overcome this;

(a) PM asking Malaysians in general to change their lifestyle with the lower income group
suffering the most,
(b) 10% cut of their monthly entertainment allowance and traveling is laughable. While the PM
has an entertainment allowance of RM18K and his deputy RM15K, majority Malaysians
never had experience such luxury,

AND the Agung speaks here.

What had not increased in Malaysia generally is the income per capita and with such drastic actions from the Malaysian Government, it relief the situation but they had not think of long term implications or plans to alleviate!

Lies are habitual and sinful is the attitude arising from lies

UPDATED 26 June 2008 8:00am
Najib and Khairy had denied the allegations found here and here. It just gets exciting from this moment.

You can't change a liar, can you? It's even worse when they are hiding behind a "religious" cloak!
Now Abdullah claimed RPK's statutory declaration is incorrect. Who is the liar? Anyway should the former be proven, it makes UMNO supporters equal liars by supporting their leaders as they are promoting liars to lead them.

Are Malaysian ruling party politicians (especially UMNO) a bunch of liars starting from the leader himself? Would Malaysians like to be labeled as liars to the whole wide world? NO!

Say NO to liars!

How low politics of ruling coalition can go?

UMNO party supporters sentiments are likened to being "brain-washed" or "toe the line" without really knowing what the reason was for the fear of disciplinary actions but more so the economic loss from apple polishing the leaders.

They are aware of the consequences of the recent "barang naik" and most notably the fuel hike. They are no different then the other people on the streets including the opposition. What they were not prepared to change is their self-centered lifestyle which was to ensure that they will continue to live the same irregardless of the price hikes while people outside their circle must change their lifestyle.

It shows clearly the mentality of "self-interest" in these people particularly the UMNO VIPs whom are not able to listen and open up. Their up bringing and mentoring is something needs brain-washing as such embedded state of mentality doee not augurs well for the future of Malaysia.

Malaysians could not believe ourselves that politics had been linked to schools/alumni(s) as this which simply reflects the sorry state of Malaysia today with this narrow mindset of ruling coalition affiliated "little napoleons". Grow UP!

Why can't they be a much more open society than their pea brain mindset, to accept the challenges of today as this? We are not asking you to change your political ideologies but embrace the fact that playing racial sentiments and BN leaders (with UMNO) in particular are irrelevant.

Majority Malaysians are united today going through 50years of independence and still UMNO wanting the rakyat to think and behave pre-independence. It stinks!

Thanks to people who support BN that we have fuel price hikes, rice price hikes, cooking oil shortage and a host of other nonsensical issues which should not have arise at all.

Malaysia Oil Price Hike!

UPDATE 05 June 2008
This PM of Malaysia had caused so much chaos in Malaysia on Wednesday June 4, 2008 with just an announcement of fuel price increase! Massive traffic jams and productive hours had been wasted by many Malaysians to fill up their tanks with the imminent fuel price increase at midnight.

It was a total chaos like a scene of doomsday save for the rush to supermarkets to stock up goods or running for our lives.

That's not the end of it all, this will ultimately trigger price increases and cost of living for all Malaysians excluding the bunch of people whom had eveything paid for by the Government like the occupants of Seri Perdana. It would be best that all travels and expenditure of people under this category to submit their income & expenditure monthly as the rakyat is paying for such folly.

The Government are always trying to hoodwinked the less informed Malaysians or those with "tidak-apa" attitude with nice graphics and tables comparing oil prices of neighbouring countries like Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia whom are all net importer unlike Malaysia. Why not compare oil prices of net exporter countries like this????

The other main question here is where or what had happened to the oil revenues from Petronas???? Why not the Government immediately provide accounts for this??

With such unfortunate announcements causing panic across Malaysia, it would not be a surprise to see an end to the present Government and protests/street demonstrations taking place all across Malaysia.

-------- posted on June 4, 2008 ----------

This is the Malaysian Government of today by trying to confuse the rakyat! Can't win the rakyat over, confuse them!

24 May 2008
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad says here, "Govt Has No Plans To Increase Fuel Price"

02 June 2008
Same Minister says here "Malaysia planning petrol price hike in August".

03 June 2008
The "flip-flop" Sleepy PM of Malaysia announced (here), "Petrol will be RM2.70 a litre at midnight tonight"

But you can see here where Malaysia's fuel price as compared with other oil producing countries.
It's just enough of this BN Government!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bunch of liars!

Note : The PM also announced Abdullah a new tariff structure for electricity supply in Peninsula Malaysia beginning July 1. It can only go upwards for this silly leader!

When Politics Gets In The Way With Sports

This Champions Youth Cup (CYC) tournament organized at a tune of MYR17million annually with the inaugural played in 2007 which was organized by Ministry of Youth and Sports and promoter Gifted Group Limited (GGL).

The Minister who initiated this had washed her hands before handing over to her successor who could only say that his Ministry will re-look into the contract for this year. In the first place, who had signed and brought the tournament here which had also ignored FAM last year and now claiming to be innocent.

Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) declared that they would not recognise this year's tournament scheduled for August 2-16 and whom had declared the MYR17million was a waste here!

GGL had meanwhile claimed that FIFA had sanction this tournament for 3 years beginning 2007 and Chairman of GGL will be in KL to resolve the matter on Tuesday (June 3).

With Chelseas scheduled to make its way here for pre-season friendly on July 29, a problem had been eased with the sacking of Manager, Avram Grant, an Israeli national and Malaysian Government can now breathe a little easier.

MCA and Ah Longs

I find it amazing that MCA's Mr Problem Solver can resolve almost any problems concerning Ah Longs? I wonder if anyone else feels the same. Is he like the Chen Jun character in Ah Long Pte Ltd?

Whether this Ah Long menace gonna stop here also depends on what information Mr Problem Solver can feed the police as well as if actions will be taken on the Ah Longs.

Teresa Kok had it here way back in 2006!

Pulau Pisang .... continuation

With Pulau Batu Puteh admission of weak representation from Malaysia, new evidence uncovered which will be brought to the ICJ as quoted by Datuk Rais Yatim after the earlier call by the PM for calm following his assurance the Government will not challenge the decision by ICJ.

Pulau Pisang's situation was blatant as the island without doubt seats on Malaysian waters but with Maritime Port Authority of Singapore (MPAS) guarding the island and the lighthouse. Why is there a need for such arrangement? Malaysian Navy or Maritime could not discharge these duties?

Today, Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) confirms they are "sharing" the duties and information with other agency which is not named in the news report here but understood to be MPAS. Again the question what right have MPAS to be on the island located on Malaysian waters?

There seems to be a channel for diversion from the main topic into working jointly to curb smuggling as well as sending a patrol ship to guard Malaysia's ownership of that 2 little rocks which formed Middle Rocks. It's pathetic!

What's Sexy? School Uniform? MYR5 for Sex?

For National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia vice-president Munirah Bahari to say school uniform is sexy which had caused an uproar nationwide, you better read what's reported in Metro here and The Star here!

Student sex for MYR5! Were they wearing school uniforms?

Time to shelve your small mindset before you get into a bigger platform!
