Singing the tune of "Malaysia Truly Asia" gives the identity that Malaysia is a culture melting pot of the various ethnic backgrounds, religion and customs. This has been further enhanced by a history of 50 years where Malaysians irregardless of faith, believe and colour had been living under one roof united in harmony.
However, prior to the 12th GE, the racial inequality agenda had been much talked about with the ruling coalition seen as the organization preaching unity whilst doing otherwise with racial based politics party. The Opposition Front (now known as "Pakatan Rakyat") had gone one better by putting aside their political ideologies and coming together as a coalition to stunning results.
The promise to serve by people elected Parliamentarians does not seem to be well acepted by the ruling coalition representatives as reflected by this very early show of a arrogance and self centered Government leader. Doesn't she realised that she is now serving the people and country, and not the Barang Naik political party????
This is exemplary of a 4X8 small mindset trying to fit into the 12X24 vision or dreams.
It could be that she had not overcome the dissapointment and hatred on Pakatan Rakyat winning the states. Her actions and mindset can only be reflective of the present Government leadership of benefitting cronies and not the country at large.
Keep going Azalina and 13th GE (or perhaps earlier), the rakyat would deliver the verdict of your report card starting from here. It's also no wonder Rafidah is disputing Azalina's status here.
