Frogs fit for restaurants!

El Nino is inflicting tremendous climate warming and drought with some towns in Malaysia reported temperature in access of 36 degrees Celcius. Extreme heat and sweating is the call of the day of many who carry out their tasks outdoors and are exposed to the heat.

The severe heat had cause damage to vegetation where rice farmers are to face with lower harvest. Even the "frogs" seem to have taken the cue from the dry weather to jump into "ponds" which promises never to run dry in whatever circumstances.

What we see daily today are the migration of frogs from Nibong Tebal, Penanti, Kulim-Bandar Baru and many more on the verge as claimed by the Terengganu state head of "farmers".

While the river had also dried up and left with hot dry wind, the lalangs around Malaysia seemed to sway much more vigorously. While the lalangs survive the humidity, it's interesting to note that this species lacking in "backbone" would sway towards the direction which promises it a better fertile soil while the wind carries it across Malaysia.

Restaurant operators offering exotic dishes, this situation may present the best moment to catch the frogs and more importantly these frogs does offer a higher value per head compared to those small little frogs.

A "restaurant" operator in Putrajaya was quick to snap those frogs to strengthen his hold on his food business empire in Malaysia and unlikely to reduce his "market share".
