Is the piggy issue in Paya Mengkuang, Melaka resolved? The Pig Site have stories from worldwide on pork and pig industry (including the Melaka issue).
The real issue for the pig farm site was actually for industrial development and not about pollution although the pig farming has brought pollution to the area with "paid" protest ters being engaged in reinforcing the Melaka State Government's stand. Can the State Government stand up and ensure that the people within the vicinity won't be subjected to pollution from the industrial development???
Thai pig farmer Ong-Arj Suwunnatee has the answer here! Isn't that technology and innovation? This has been mentioned before in my Swine Bio-Gas.
With due respect to the multi-ethnic and religion, we are talking about moving forward and not seeking a easy solution of culling the pigs or reducing the number of pig rearing!. Moving forward in terms of how we can utilise the waste and translate into by products without discounting the environment and safety of people.
Will the State Government provide subsidies instead to allow the pig farmers to emulate Khun Ong-Arj Suwunnatee in the name of Melaka Maju Jaya?
