Which PM?

I was on a Government sponsored roadshow in few Middle East countries way back in 2005 where we met Iranians, Saudis, Kuwaitis, Indians, Bahrainis, Bangladesh, Nepalese, UAE, Qataris, Omanis and many more countries.

Then we were proudly displaying made in Malaysia products and standing tall as a Malaysian. I vividly remember few common questions which I was asked about Malaysia and how the foreigners view Malaysia. It is a moment of recognition when they recognise us coming from Malaysia which they regard highly and we can sense immediately the brotherhood feel.

Then come a question which I was asked many times;

Q : "How is your Prime Minister?"
Me : Which one?
Q : Mahathir.... he is a good man and champion the OIC and developing countries.

When Tun Mahathir had in fact retire and his name remains on everyone's lips shows the respect and impression he had created in the minds of people globally. Till today, in Malaysia, his name remains a legacy as a Prime Minister whom had spend on projects wisely and Malaysians are able to enjoy and take pride.

Here, let's all pray for a quick recovery for this great man!
