Courting Danger with KL Public Buses

Mini bus which used to ply KL city

I am sure all Klang Valley folks would agree that after the Government decided to end the era of mini buses which used to terrorise the city streets, public would have a safer ride on roads. It's the drivers and not the buses are causing the danger.

Present moment, everyone would not debate whether Metro Bus Nationwide a convenience or disturbance and the picture below describes the awareness of public safety by these company bus drivers. Can anyone imagine had the un-lock cover swing open and strike someone or another vehicle along the street.

1. Will the authorities act fast to ensure the safety of the public?

2. Will the enforcement officers not "close one eye" when such instances occurs in front of their eyes?

3. Will the bus companies ensure the safety of public at large and not only on profit?

4. Will the authorities take action on those buses with tinted glass before another untoward incident happens again?

5. Will the authorities ever listen to the public at large?

6. Is this how a country of first class infrastructure public transport suppose to be?

Many questions on our public transport remained unanswered or just swept away.
Just compare our Metrobus with London Metrobus

Recognise which is the Malaysian version?
